He had to have a wound area excised and they made sure he got the best possible care before, during, and after surgery. If you need an exotics vet that is familiar with rats, please come see her. We have had some HORRIBLE experiences with vets who CLAIM to be knowledgeable with caring for rats, and she understood. She took the time to listen to what we had to say, and also to explain what she was going to do and why, etc. She is wonderful, and you won't regret coming to see her.
